Sweet and Spicy Pan-Fried Asparagus

Talk about waking up your taste buds in this sweet and spicy pan-fried asparagus recipe! This comes together super quick – just mix the sauce, and pan-fry (or grill) your asparagus.

Directions

  1. In small bowl, stir Farm Boy™ Spicy Bomba, 2 Tbsp Farm Boy™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Farm Boy™ White Liquid Honey, and Farm Boy™ White Wine Vinegar.
  2. Heat 2 Tbsp Farm Boy™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook asparagus, tossing often, until stalks are bright green, blistered in spots and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a platter.
  5. Drizzle sauce over asparagus.
  6. Garnish with toasted almonds, parsley leaves, and red chili pepper and serve.

  • cracked black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 2 Tbsp parsley leaves
  • 1 red chili pepper thinly sliced
