If you’re looking for a dessert to impress this holiday season, look no further than our Gingerbread Swiss Roll Trifle! Very simple to put together, it makes a showstopper at your dinner table. Best of all, it can be made in advance and feeds a crowd!
Standing time: 6-12 hours
Directions
- In mixer bowl, combine 1 ½ cups whipping cream and Farm Boy™ 14% Sour Cream. Whip until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, combine remaining 1 ½ cups whipping cream, caramel syrup, and Farm Boy™ Organic Ground Cinnamon. Whip until stiff peaks form.
- Line edges and bottom of trifle bowl with slices of Farm Boy™ Gingerbread Swiss Rolls. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp of whiskey or Cointreau (if using).
- Spread 1/2 of the caramel cream, followed with 1/4 of the crumbled Farm Boy™ Ginger Cookie Chips and another layer of Farm Boy™ Gingerbread Swiss Rolls.
- Spread 1/2 of the sour cream whipped cream. Top with 1/4 of the crumbled Farm Boy™ Ginger Cookie Chips and another layer of Farm Boy™ Gingerbread Swiss Rolls and a drizzle of whiskey or Cointreau (if using).
- Spread with remaining 1/2 of the caramel cream, followed with 1/4 of the crumbled Farm Boy™ Ginger Cookie Chips and final layer of Farm Boy™ Gingerbread Swiss Rolls and a drizzle of whiskey or Cointreau(if using).
- Finish with a layer of the remaining sour cream whipped cream and a sprinkling of the remaining Farm Boy™ Ginger Cookie Chip crumbs and Farm Boy™ Organic Cranberries.
- Chill for at least 6 hours, but best if overnight.

- 1 cup caramel flavoured dessert syrup
- 1 tsp Farm Boy™ Organic Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Farm Boy™ Organic Dried Cranberries
