Our maple rice pudding is super creamy and thick, and it all starts with the type of rice – our Farm Boy™ Calrose Sushi Rice is perfect for this recipe, and when we make it in a risotto-style, it results in the creamiest concoction. If you want to make this vegan, you can use coconut milk instead of regular milk – it will also be delicious. Top it with fresh berries and a drizzle of Farm Boy™ Amber Maple Syrup and enjoy!
Directions
- In large saucepan, place Farm Boy™ Calrose Sushi Rice, Farm Boy™ Organic Whole Milk, water, and a pinch of salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until rice is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
- Stir in Farm Boy™ Amber Maple Syrup and vanilla.
- Serve, topped with fresh berries.
