Chef’s Tips:
* Make a double batch and freeze them in single portions.
* Feel free to substitute some of the nuts and chocolate for dried fruit.
* Instead of the three individual spices, use the combined amount of pumpkin pie spice.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 pan or 2 loaf pans and line with parchment paper.
- In large bowl, combine Farm Boy™ Large Flake Oats, Farm Boy™ Vanilla Protein Powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, Farm Boy™ Organic Ground Cinnamon, Farm Boy™ Ground Nutmeg and cloves.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, Farm Boy™ Ample Maple Syrup (or honey), milk, pumpkin puree, and hemp hearts. Stir in the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
- Stir in pecans and ¼ cup chocolate chips. Spread batter in pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 25-28 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips. Let them soften and then spread them out to cover the top.
- Let cool completely, cut into portions, and enjoy.
